Blue smokes and flares are like rocking horse sh1t at the moment - every single piece we had has ended up in Glasgow.

I'm hoping Celtic win something as we have about 6000 greens and oranges.

Norwich will take the greens when they get fecking promoted.

Rose Malster won't like that much.

Malster to Appeal 13th Oct 2001 11:21
Alderman Road resident Rose Malster has still not given up her hopes of stopping the new North Stand. The persistent resident of the street behind the ground is now set to take her battle to Europe, a happy hunting ground for Town so far htis season. 0

Imagine where we would be if she had won and stopped the development of that stand!

ll they've had is full support, about time this fcking club knew that 12th in league 1 wasn't good enough.

I like the idea of car horn bleeping for 90mins outside ground for home games also

Anything to get national media attention. That will force ME's hand.

Pay attention BL

When I said ALL blues have ended up in Glasgow I wasn't joking.

All happened about two weeks ago - could have sold 1000's more.

Same thing happened last year with red when Liverpool got to European final.

I never get it right!

Do you remember the 1970's advert about Cadburys Cream Eggs?

Only concern with a protest like this is that it can give the appearance of a vocal minority, the same criticism that the club have directed towards the forum, despite it clearly representing the view of the majority of fans.

Not a criticism though given the circumstances. All actions will add up to make the feelings clearly felt, and continue applying pressure.

Fair play to them getting peoples attention see Darren Bent commented and replied back to a Town fan saying Bent not a Lambert fan either and he replied correct

Sorry

I mean. Let off a shed loads of smoke but dont shout anything until the numbers of people there are bigger.

The effect of the smoke was good. But as soon as you heard just 3 voices it's a really bad protest. And not one that's going to make anyone take notice.

That's not taking anything away from BA. I think its brilliant. And in lockdown nothing much more can be done.

Well done to blue action for actually trying to do something. Evans just wants to wait till the season is over before doing anything which will be more damaging to the club. He doesn’t understand football and doesn’t get it. Anything getting more publicity of the fans feelings can only be good as it will force him out of hibernation to make a decision

It's Stuart Taylor.

You can hear him say "great effing support that is lads"

Taylor after defeat this week; well sadly our training session was disrupted by some mindless idiots so we’re weren’t able to prepare properly the gaffer would be here but he’s watching a video of the defeat our next game is a must win we hope everyone gets behind us rather than disrupt training again

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Even a little protest like this is already starting to get the attention of others..

EADT/Star have done a story one it also and plastered it over FB/Twit.

At least those fans are doing something.

Not having a pop at what Blue Action are trying to do or that they are out there doing it themselves etc.

But, on the face of that video, that 'protest' pretty much is exactly what I'd expect one for Ipswich Town to look like. Half baked, under funded, ineffective.....much like our club and football.

Sorry Blue Action - I do absolutely support what you are trying to do....

As others have said, if loads of fans turned up they'd get accused of spreading the virus.

I applaud what they did. Stuart Taylor can complain but there's little sign this season that training improves us as a team. About time the club had it thrust in their faces how fans feel. Point has been made elsewhere but they're lucky this season has been largely behind closed doors.

You genuinely think the national media, you know the careful what you wish for ones, remotely care that a mid table League 1 club has people standing outside training grounds letting off a flare, vainly protesting against well is it the club, the owner, the manager, you think they are that starved for news it will be more than a footnote?

This is the same kind of stuff we used to mock other clubs fans for, for the 'big club's fans mentality, for thinking they actually thought they mattered that much any more.

How would you protest then. Considering lockdown rules.

Many thousands can celebrate Liverpool winning the title with little to no consequence, but a few lads protesting, "disgraceful".

Plus all the other national protests are OK. Do we just turn off our emotion to what is going wrong at ITFC and let Lambert continue to have a free pass as the cock up he is making?

Don't know what to feel about this. It's cringeworthy on the one hand. I don't like the personal nature of it either, but I guess that's inevitable.

But on the other hand, we all know things aren't going well and it's embarrassing that we're so accepting of mediocrity. At least they are doing something.

What actions are you taking apart from whining each day about your fellow fans?

I've had 3 responses from the club regarding other matters this past week alone.

The point is though Swanners, is they are perfectly aware of how the fans feel and have reacted with contempt.

So almost anything now is fair game really and the club, or rather especially Lambert and co, have nothing to complain about.

I don't think anyone is suggesting they'll particularly care, merely that there's a chance they'll cover it. It's not necessarily dependant on mainstream media to make a difference either. Darren Bent has twice as many Twitter followers as The Telegraph Sport, and all publicity is helpful. ME needs to feel the heat a little, both in the pocket but also reputationally, it's all we can hope for. He's actively speaking to replacements, he's close to the edge, who knows all it might take to get that final push is a poor result or a derogatory article.
