Dont support the club financially. Then moan about lack of investment.
Whilst M.E doesnt have the money to make us a prem team he is financially sound for this league and lower championship. Support and get back to championship rather than all this M.E out bol ox.
Some owners barely have interest in their clubs. M.e alone has kept us solvent and in the past 18 months has ploughed in so much money to keep it running. Some owners may have thought sod it. Fold it. Which a new owner possibly might. Hes already said in the past.. 2 offers he turned down they went to two clubs. Both clubs they left after 2/3 years leaving them rotten.
This is what happens when the fans demand to much in a modern football landscape that has changed since we were successful. It's a money rich requirement yet people weren't happy with midtable championship under Mick

I've said from early my belief is that the new owners plan is not to come in and pile money into us rather make us a profitable club. Degrees of investment will be required to that but it is also a very careful balance especially at this level.

I've said from early my belief is that the new owners plan is not to come in and pile money into us rather make us a profitable club. Degrees of investment will be required to that but it is also a very careful balance especially at this level.

Totally get that. But part of that will surely be to get a competitive team together, something that Evans just doesn't seem to get.
That doesn't need millions of pounds. It just means that when Cook wants a player (and he'll be sensible, he won't be going after Aguero or Messi!) that he won't miss out because we're too tight to spend a little extra. | |

I haven't heard that the academy was going but I was told outright the sale would leave us with not enough land to ever be cat 1. So unless they want to build some mega facility It looks like we are going to very much have to settle with cat 2 being the best we will have... If we're lucky. As a fan I want the acadamey to be as good as possible, Norwich and to a lesser extent Cambridge are just mopping up. We are left with dregs... A familiar story, all hail olly hawkins | | | |

Have the expectations changed since the last time we applied to be Cat 1 and missed out by some tiny margin?
I don’t remember the size of the training facilities being a major factor, but maybe I’m misremembering.
Would be a shame if it rules out Cat 1 in the future, but we’re probably a way off from reapplying again either way. [Post edited 6 Apr 2021 7:16]
