The only thing that would have cheered me up today is if he’d been 1/2 meters further to the left… with a drop down onto concrete stairs below the cobbold, so no ITFC fan was hurt, and he suffered terribly for his selfish cnt actions

It’s about waist height and never happened before as far as I know. Can’t see how it was anything other than a prank gone wrong. Hope there is no repercussions for the club and as someone that has been a season ticket holder in that stand for many years, a Perspex barrier would be awful
Unfortunately nanny state H&S rules is likely to mean two options for the club IMO.
Don't sell tickets in the first 2/3 rows, or extend the perspex barrier all along the Cobbold Stand.
The former will be quite costly for the club in lost revenue. The latter will mean yet more RV seats.

Only incidents I can recall are the Portsmouth bellend and HariKrishna dressed fans (Leicester I think) both deliberate. Bellend stood on the roof of the executive boxes. the others jumped down in to lower tier.
Both deliberate acts as I'm sure was this. The worst outcome is reduced capacity by leaving the front row empty for away fans..
Hopefully he wasn't just escorted out of the ground.. any charge would presumably lead to a banning order.
I recall in the 70's man Utd had all of the lower cobbold and were trying to climb into the upper section, but were being hit with walking sticks by the 'senior fans' up there - hilarious!

She’s found a neck brace now for Look East
After Delia’s ‘missile attack’ and now this, we really are the club of danger 😂
The club made sure she was OK and gave her first aid. They can hardly say provisions will be put in place the moment it happened; they need to look into it. How often has it happened before now? And how many years has that stand been in place for?
Mountain out of molehill for a bit of publicity and perhaps a pay off. Maybe I'm being cynical but... yeah.

They should have stopped the game, put the air ambulance on the pitch and stretchered her away.

It is a shame they have gone to the media over it but I bet it was a shock suddenly having them land on them from nowhere. It could easily have led to injury to her. I am sure a full investigation will find out the reason why it happened and the degree of intoxication (or otherwise) involved. I trust the culprit was detained rather than simply ejected from the ground.

According to the reports he was escorted out of the ground and that was it. He's a Maidstone season ticket holder.

The problem with a Perspex barrier is that it will be impossible to see through if it rains as well sun will drive in and distort the view. And it s nearly all season tickets in those rows in the stands and reduces capacity by a few 100.
It also won’t stop anyone climbing over if they wanted to.
