Looks like a higher level George Hirst so stylistically would have fit but you never know if Towns name is gonna be linked by agents to bump the price or if its genuine.

No idea how likely this would be, and I can't say I know much about him but he looks taylor made for the style we play. One caveat though, how many times have we seen a YouTube video of someone looking awesome, but never show it once they sign.

That's an odd take. Not expensive for an international striker. There's an element of risk in any signing but don't see it particularly here. Good age, playing for a decent side, there's a lot to like. Gotta imagine that if there is truth in it McKenna will have sanctioned a bid.
I agree. People need to get in their heads we won’t be signing players for 1-2m. 20m for a player at premier league level is your bang average. Difference for us is we can’t afford to make too many mistakes at these levels.

You are so wrong. We will be signing free transfers and low fees as well as a few for more. Whether we are going to spend £20m on a player who has only played in Greece is questionable.
10 players totalling £50-60m is where we will likely end up.

20m would be very much an exception. We need about 10 players. No way can we afford to start setting 20m as the norm. Maybe one, and that’d be a surprise and probably only for Hutch.

We will what ever Ashton and KM feel will be good enough to not only stay up but hit the prem harder than any previous promoted side. They won't be in it to tread above water.
I wouldn't be surprised to see nott forest level spending but on less volume of players.
Have they ? The fact Samaras is in the top 10 tells you a lot. Giannakopolis was an average Prem player and tops the list. Dabizas, no.2 was backup to Titus wasnt he?
That list is a lot more uninspiring than I thought it would be.

Some will be frees, but a fair few will be above 10m. I wouldn’t be surprised if at least two were above, or at 20m.
It won’t be the norm, but for key positions (such as a striker) it is likely.

Who are you to say I’m wrong. Didn’t say we will sign 5 players at 20m but it wouldnt surprise me if we had a couple around that value.

The nationality of a player and the history of how others from that country have done in the PL is totally irrelevant anyway.
