MOTM? on 22:36 - Jul 7 with 1645 views | gainsboroughblue | For me yep. Maguire deserves a mention too. But Southgate got it absolutely spot on again.

MOTM? on 22:39 - Jul 7 with 1628 views | Superblue95 | Sterling must be the fittest bloke in the universe. The amount of energy he had in extra time was insane. Oh that basis I’d give it to him.

MOTM? on 22:46 - Jul 7 with 1601 views | reusersfreekicks | Yep followed by Schmeichel, Kane and the defence

Agree....Walker for me just shaded it.

MOTM? on 22:46 - Jul 7 with 1598 views | Metal_Hacker | Walker covered everything snd mopped up superbly but Sterling has been and was again tonight a different class

MOTM? on 22:46 - Jul 7 with 1601 views | Ftnfwest | Probably although shaw was excellent again. One who keeps getting overlooked because Maguire gets the headlines is Stones. A mile away from the hesitant player of 2 or 3 years ago.

Pay rise for walker and sterling's fitness coaches. How in earth they do that amount of running deep into extra time is crazy

It seemed that everything going forwards went through Sterling at one point or another. I can't see how it's possible for anyone to overlook that.

MOTM? on 22:54 - Jul 7 with 1553 views | Bent_double | Agree with Sterling, but Stones and Maguire were both superb too.

MOTM? on 22:56 - Jul 7 with 1546 views | Romeo4 | Kane for me. A masterclass of centre forward play. Sterling, Walker, Maguire all great too.
MOTM? on 23:04 - Jul 7 with 1514 views | Kropotkin123 | Kasper Schmeichel for me. A few very good saves amongst the 20 shots we had (10 on target). It was a good performance all round though from England. Reduced Denmark to 3 shots on target.

MOTM? on 23:04 - Jul 7 with 1506 views | Ryorry | Sterling yes, but the way they kept possession for about 2 mins 50 secs of those last 3 mins injury time just showcases how much of a great *team* they are.

MOTM? on 23:08 - Jul 7 with 1481 views | positivity | tie between sterling & walker, for england walker was immense and his pace saved us too. schmeichel overall, would have thrashed us if it'd gone to pens...
| |
MOTM? on 23:09 - Jul 7 with 1472 views | wkj | Walker. He did so much tonight where in the past we'd have been kicking ourselves for being outpaced at the back. I have to admit, our whole backline is miles above many England defences I have seen in my time.

MOTM? on 23:10 - Jul 7 with 1449 views | 26_Paz | Sterling for me but Walker was absolutely world class as well. You won’t see much better full back performance than that, anywhere. Reminds me of a young Paz

MOTM? on 23:47 - Jul 7 with 1392 views | J2BLUE | Sterling was superb. Never stopped running and got every decision right in ET. Walker was brilliant. Maguire has converted me. Was never a massive fan but he really is our defensive rock.
| |
MOTM? on 23:56 - Jul 7 with 1359 views | rickw | Sterling for me, Walker is good defensively but he still can't cross. The system seems like it works where even when it's a back 4, Walker is sometimes the 3rd centre back and Shaw a wing back. Anyway as everyone else said - Sterling was excellent, he just kept going and his running was a danger for the whole 120 mins

MOTM? on 00:01 - Jul 8 with 1340 views | clive_baker | Walker and Shaw excellent. Maguire excellent. Rice out of possession, excellent. Kane and Sterling also excellent. Either of those 2 would be a worthy winner of it, but who cares quite frankly.

MOTM? on 01:01 - Jul 8 with 1293 views | Churchman | Stirling. Hands up, I’ve been a critic of his at times in the past, but tonight he was the difference. He ran them ragged from first min to last. Honourable mentions for Maguire, Kane and another I’ve criticised before, Walker. For Denmark, Schmeichel was immense. Which he was in our goal instead of Pickford who looks dodgy at times. MOTM? on 01:20 - Jul 8 with 1277 views | Clapham_Junction | Walker for me. Having a defender with that kind of pace is a massive plus, and it saved us a couple of times tonight.
