We're Ipswich Town, we don't have that many players that have won something.
No problem celebrating good servants of the club, especially someone who generally got people interested and showed how much the club meant. |
I also said "or at least been an integral part of a decent Ipswich team."
Just seems odd to celebrate mediocrity to me, but it also doesn't bother me. I was and still am a big Chambo fan. |  |

Wonderful the club legends getting honoured and very fitting that Chambo is the most prominent. OK so the older players had more success but it was generations ago, Plug and Titus went on to be play higher but none of then really had the impact or have the connection that Chambo does. A true hero |

I agree.
I’ve always classed Chambers as an Ipswich ‘stalwart’ and not a ‘legend’. As a stalwart, he totally deserves his recognition in ITFC history and I think he should be on the mural.
He’s not a legend. That would devalue the meaning for the true legends we’ve had imho. |

Ah you see, that is where you are wrong.
I was asking a question and provided context for my question. I don't think asking Phil questions about how far this rebrand/renovattion is going is the mark of anything but excitement, after all - he was somewhat in the loop on the window decals. Furthermore, reading further up the page you'll be very aware I was waxing lyrical.
