I think the answer is a top man as director of football must be appointed and quick, then Evans must keep right out of choosing a first team coach, it's the only way forward to a positive outcome, just look back at the rubbish managers that have been appointed since Evans arrived and take a good look at the third division table because we sit a dozen teams away from the fourth division, most supporters will think this can never happen, don't bank on it.

That way no one can accuse you of anything, rightly or wrongly.
