That was four years worth of apology you reckon? Three threads slating the man in the past week or so alone and you offer that reasoning? Ok. The OP has had an agenda but if you are ok with supporting that then fair enough for being open about it.

Our team from 5 years ago beat us,
My point is very simple…. Jacko is easily oh the worst town player of the last 5 years.
Yeahhhhhhhhh, he runs and that…. He is way off the standard, That’s not even all of your posts about him. This is weird.

He's made dozens of those kind of posts about Jackson for a long time now. But he's made this one pretend apologetic thread so it's ok. We have some apologists in our midst. Now watch us get called snowflakes for pointing out a fact or two. "They don't like it up 'em". That's for sure.

You do seem to revel in the judge, jury and executioner role on here and I’m not sure why. You misread, misinterpreted, misunderstood and misrepresented my comments a few weeks back and inferred I was a racist misogynist! I think everyone could do with taking a step back and thinking before they post sometimes.

Do you expect a League One forward to be better than an ex-England international with 300 appearances for Arsenal?

Jacko - an apology. on 07:34 - Aug 17 with 698 views | textbackup | Yeah he ‘put in a shift’ He also missed the target with his only chance, and when in dangerous positions his final ball never found a Town player. Sub appearance once a game is won is all I see him good for

That's a rubbish take. He was playing wing back and did very well given its not his main role then had to move forward to pay CF after running his socks off and continued to work hard in that role. Do other strikers never miss? He gets a hugely disproportionate amount of criticism from you and a few others whilst others who do similar things get nothing. It's very weird and certainly says more about you than Jackson's performances. SB | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I think Kmac likes him as he does a great job of defending from the front with his pace and energy but yeah like you say, he’s not a goal threat.

Jacko - an apology. on 01:56 - Aug 17 by jeera | Neither Badger's nor my comments you have replied to were aimed at you. You're not in on the 'joke' as it were. My life is none of your concern thanks! You've been out of sorts with your silly threads but that's not anyone else's problem. You don't have to keep chasing your own comments around the board trying to correct them. Just don't make them at all and you'll be just fine. Singling out a player for derogatory treatment for 3-4 years and then posting some pathetic effort at an apology because you haven't got the support you hoped for doesn't cut it. It has verged on a one man hate campaign at times. It's fecking weird but you've got away with it lightly because not everyone has noticed. But it's your weird sh1t, own it and don't try to project it onto me. [Post edited 17 Aug 2022 2:00]

Felt sorry on one specific opportunity. He made it to the byline. Looked up. Not one town player got in space for him to play it to in the box. Morsy unfortunately didn't move in that specific phase. Which on another day he may have made himself available.

yes it says more about me that a striker, when playing as a striker, missed his one and only 1 on 1..... absolute dribble machine. ladapo also missed a 1 on 1, i realise this, but as we were discussing jackson i thought i'd comment on him. if you find that weird you crack on mate, he put in a shift for the majority of the game in a position he's not really familiar with, for that well done KJ, but i really dont rate the bloke, in a striker position, in the slightest. and i'll be amazed if he gets more than 3-5 goals this season. thats football [Post edited 17 Aug 2022 12:29]

yeah i mean i'm certainly not saying every pass will find a town player etc.... i realise this is L1, and the players have a limit to what they can do. but on my observation there were 3/4 chances where he got to the byline, or got a chance to get the ball in, and it never found a town player.

Jackson got 3 in 12 appearances last year so whilst you might not rate him he managed a 1 in 4 ratio when not solely playing as a striker. Given this your "3-5 goals" seems like yet another narrative driven prediction which isn't really supported by the most recent evidence. I hope he does far better than that just so he doesn't have to be the constant target of criticism by some of our supporters. SB

He also put in what could have been a goal-saving tackle near the end of the game.
