Just got home via Turkish restaurant in Greenwich 21:21 - Oct 29 with 1510 views | Pendejo | Due to the away end sell out, today was an infiltration day. My father, uncle and their cousins are Charlton fans so I'm comfortable around Charlton fans. Before the game found ourselves chatting to a polish Charlton fan, really nice felka. Had great seats in upper tier to the left of the town fans in what seemed a sparsely populated Valley. Managed to keep it together as we raced into a 2 goal lead, and was aware of smiling faces to my right, pegged back to 2-2 was groansome. But when Freddy scored we simply forgot ourselves and jumped up shouting yes. Kept in together for 4th... Their 3rd goal went on and it's "oh well" their 4th was fitting as we'd outed ourselves but hey nothing nasty. Had a good day out pub crawling from to Charlton via New Cross Deptford and Greenwich Shame couldn't see it out, Onto the next game...

Just got home via Turkish restaurant in Greenwich on 22:18 - Oct 29 with 1279 views | Rozz | I too was in infiltration club, in the Curbishley stand off to the right as the away fans viewed it. We celebrated 3rd and 4th and congratulated the CAFC fans that came tio rub it in afterwards. I'll feel differently tomorrow, but I was glad to leav nattering to opposition fans having seen a game that was IMO an advert for the league.

There’s no real moral to the story (I was with Pendejo) but being with the Charlton fans and shaking hands with them and having a bit of a giggle about it all meant we left The Valley in high spirits unlike what seemed like a lot of angry Town fans coming out of the away end in a bad mood. Some were even getting gobby on the way to the station. I guess it doesn’t seem so serious when you just enjoy the show. The bloke behind me who was with 2 young lads asked me what I thought was gonna happen when they made it 4-3. You could still win this 5-4 was my response. His little lads were so excited when they equalized. Couldn’t help but have a wry smile about it all. In addition……. The Kofte at the Turkish restaurant was lovely and we also discovered that whilst 2 pints of Stella in Greenwich Wetherspoons costs about £6.50,…..2 pints of Brixton lager in the Amersham arms on New Cross Road will set you back £12.40! So I guess the moral of the story is don’t buy a round in the Amersham arms !
