There were 29,000 at the Sunderland game, so - no, it is more than 27K. Could be accounted for by numbers of seats not being made available for general sale for most games I suppose. There are a bunch in the Sir Alf which are covered up and normally not sold, for instance.

Good points. Assume somebody at the club must know the actual capacity as that is presumably needed for the safety certificate.

25,000 sold by lunchtime today on 18:26 - Apr 1 with 1330 views | OldFart71 | The capacity at PR after the new stands went up was a few over 30,000. This was to allow Town to put on England games. Believe this applied to the under 23's under the auspices of David Sheepshanks. Don't know if this included the wheelchair access as this may or may not have impacted the overall capacity. Never mind, once Gamechanger have their development in place the capacity will be between 30 and 35,000 minimum.

I was there. The crush was so bad in the North Stand that at least one of the metal barriers broke. At half time people were allowed to walk along the side of the pitch to the Churchmans' which was less crowded, and which is what I did.
