No, although I did use a fictional overseas address 'just to make sure'

Yeah I did this, using an airbnb address I stayed in, plus set up a new email address and used a different payment method (although it's still registered to the UK).

But a mate just uses a VPN on his regular UK-based iFollow account. Making the point "I could be travelling to Iceland for the weekend but still want to watch the game." Anyway, he has no problems.

It's probably best if people don't discuss individual VPNs on here. Just google them, do your research, watch a YouTube video on how they work/what to do to set them up. It's not difficult.

The more they're discussed on forums the more likely they'll get blocked.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

I subscribe to Express VPN for about £75 a year and have managed to watch all away games for the past two and a bit seasons (€11 a pop) I am UK based and use a laptop/desktop but have also used my (Android) phone.

I can't do that because on the other TV I have all channels through the internet and I do get some buffering and anything else would mess mine up I would think, she does have ITV and BBC in mono through a dish by picture is bad at night.

A bigger dish could be the answer. I have access to a holiday home in south-eastern Spain, and with a 1.5 metre dish and Freesat box can pick up and record all the Freesat channels available in the UK. The channels could also be picked up with an ordinary satellite dish. The picture quality is excellent, and as the name suggests, the channels are free. Of course it all depends on the footprint of the satellite for Freesat channels in Portugal, and you might not have the room for such a large dish anyway. In Spain there are plenty of people offering to fit such dishes, so the same may be true in Portugal.

I meant to say ordinary satellite box, not ordinary satellite dish.

I'll look into it but I'm only renting so I will speak to the owner 👍
