…. was a nightmare.
Thousands still outside with 20 minutes until kick-off, absolutely no organisation outside from MK, anyone would have though they weren’t expecting over seven thousand people who aren’t familiar with the stadium to all want to get in through the three entrances they had open.
Luckily, Town fans queued patiently - although it was a lottery as to which queue you joined due to the lack of organisation.
I can imagine imagine that with less placid and docile away fans, it would could have turned nasty.
Thankfully they eventually realised that allowing people to enter each gate from the left and right (rather than just one) would help the situation. [Post edited 12 Feb 2022 20:16]

Agree it was shocking, we were in the queue for the lower for a while(that queue was horrendous)and didn't realize until we got closer, luckily then the queue for upper wasn't so bad, honestly thought kick off would be delayed looking at the situation at around 2.40pm.. |  | | |

It was ridiculous. No signage, leaving fans to guess where they were supposed to queuing. They were frisking everyone and yet the first thing I did when I got in was buy a bottle of coke and they gave me it with the lid on. I was grateful but what a joke! |  |

The upper tier was much smaller, so had less fans to get in and therefore less queues.
The queues for the lower tier and the (lack of) organisation was dreadful. A steward tried to blame the Town fans for all arriving late and the same time, which is a blatant lie as the queues were huge from 2pm onwards…. If in doubt, blame the fans. | |

We asked a steward if there was a different q for entrance 3 he said no one a for all gates.. after 10 mins standing in the massive q my son did a walk around the stadium came back and said there is another q for gate 3 and there is hardly anyone in it! Had my bag searched they were happy with Coke bottles with lids and some sweets! Ridiculous situation steward said be glad when you lot are all in like it was our fault!!! Loved all the inflatables btw! | | | |

The useless stewards should have been walking along that massive queue of about 200 yards instructing people that this queue was for lower and there was another entrance for upper....

Got to the ground about 2.20… saw the queues going all over the place, cracked open a tinny, wife tutted at me, joined a queue (upper tier) that took approx 5mins to get through, kids rainbow bag full of sweets and drinks didn’t get searched, wifes tiny handbag did…
Looked utter sht for lower tier, and fair play to the fans for queuing in a decent manner. |  |
