Thought maybe I could grab a home ticket for Sat 12:39 - Oct 11 with 1519 viewsHipsterectomy

but the whole stadium is sold out now and apparently they are expecting their biggest crowd in 20 years. Hope it’s not a repeat of that night game against Colchester on Sky

Is there actually any rivalry here or is it as significant as us playing Luton or Southend?

Since Peterborough moved up it’s us. 91’ they broke some windows in The Hare & Hounds, 86’ League Cup we had a bit of a set too up there, so I’m sure the locals have had their eye on this one since the fixture list came out. Pre season games have been been gentle workouts, but I’m expecting a good atmosphere this time.

Its always been on their radar as we are the same distance as Peterborough to them.

For me, you can forget all your weird Nowich rivalry, which I simply don't understand. Living in Cambridge this is the big one for me.

Could be fun as it’s unreserved seating.

A mad rush at 2.55 for our fans to find spare places will be hilarious...........not!

I remember the game vs Southend years ago (probably about 10 years ago) where it was unreserved seating when ther whole end was full. Why do they do that?

Good luck whoever is going.

Funny when you have teams like Cambridge, Colchester, Southend etc who think we're rivals but in reality we just see them as a little brother

I’ve never understood the problem with unreserved seating, I actually wish everywhere done it.

It allows elderly people / people with kids to get in early and get to the front so nobody can obstruct their view. It also allows people to sit together even if they didn’t buy tickets together.

Yeah, this.

I much prefer it and will be there early to sit where I want.

I am sure there was no alcohol on sale for the friendly in the bar, I wonder if that's the case again?

Yeah but if there is 1000 seats and 1000 people, the last people in find it hard to find a seat?

AM I really explaining this? haha

Yes its fine if 1000 in 3000 seats. yeah great. Not when its "sold out" though

Correct. At 90% full, an unreserved seating area looks completely full, so it is hard to find a place. It is even worse when the entrance is at the top (Palace was horrible a few years ago for that reason).
