Quite a strange game 20:36 - Mar 16 with 2522 viewschrismakin

I dont feel we have been rubbish but I also dont feel like weve done anything of note that could make up a match report.

Two scrappy sides and a very horrible game of actual football to watch.

69th minute edit

Now I agree overall it's been rubbish.

We've been crap, just because Lambert has gone doesn't make everything good.

We have been very poor.

A very poor group of players though, so miracles can’t be worked instantly.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?

We’ve been terrible. I’ve lost count of the number of misplaced passes, over hit passes, over run balls or poor decision making. Less said about the goal conceded the better.

Bit embarrassing if you think that’s an ok performance.

I thought that was awful. Created nothing, lack of quality on the ball and yet again too many poor individual performances.

Ultimately we have seen these players under perform for too long and I'm confident Cook will sort it out and get shot of the dead wood in the summer

We've been awful all over the pitch. Apart from that though....

Poll: If KM goes now, will you applaud him when he returns with his new club?

Its neither an ok performance or a rubbish one. It's just in the middle. Kinda like a meh performance.

Weve defended relatively well despite the opening goal which was terrible.

And considering their form weve coped ok. It's just the usual on the ball stuff we re struggling with again.

Fleetwood are the most defensive side in the league. We’re 1-0 down with 1 shot and 0 shots on target. Obviously we’re not being hammered but that doesn’t make it an ok performance.

We've not been rubbish? Pull the other one.

I could tell with your blind assumption Cook was an excellent manager for us with very little basis behind it that you'd then defend the undefendable.

No I've seen much worse performances. However it doesnt mean this has been a positive one either. It genuinely is a 'meh' performance.

Cook might prove to be an excellent manager but he only has one promotion from the third tier to his name. At this stage of his career he isn't 'excellent'

He has two, one with Portsmouth, the other with Wigan and a League Two title with Chesterfield. He’s an excellent manager.

Why do people make things up.

As far as I'm aware he got Portsmouth promoted from League Two which is the fourth tier.

Most of his management career has been in the lower tiers of English football and only has one promotion in the third tier. If that now makes a manager excellent then there's a huuuugggeee list of excellent managers and what on earth does it make Mick? On another planet?!

He could well become an excellent manager. Or like hundreds before he could remain a lower league manager for the rest of his career.

I'm also sure it took you a long time to twig that Lambert was no good too, to be fair.
