You wouldn't believe the stuff my Scottish mate sends me, I get regular videos of all kinds of stuff - I can cope with the odd terrorist accidentally shooting himself in the head, or even the odd railway line electrocution but some of the stuff I simply don't open.
“Hello, I'm your MP. Actually I'm not. I'm your candidate. Gosh.”

It's breaking news on all the main news channels.
And within minutes, people start sending video's via WhatsApp, I'm just saying, don't watch it.
I don't know of the video you are talking about but if it resulted in death or serious harm I wouldn't watch it and it's not really in the publics interest is it.
My main thing is the over reporting on child abuse and death, there have been a few high profile cases recently and anytime they popped up in the news I would turn the radio or TV off.
I'm not saying it shouldn't be reported but do we really need to know the full horror complete with audio recordings?

It’s the close-up of the mars bar being deep-fried that sickens you, right?

Why don’t you tell him to stop sending you sh!t like that?
'Why' is a great question. I think the answer might be because there has never been footage of this before and we're all naturally curious. I don't think we should judge the guy/girl negatively for filming it. Who knows how we'd react if it was us.

He’s had his fun with the shark attack video but doesn’t want the rest of us to be able to enjoy it.
Selfish really.
I'm still feeling queasy to be fair, it was sent to me before I saw anything on the news so just opened it thinking it was going to be another Gail Tilsley wind meme/video.

Was just trying to pre warn others just in case.
Obviously for some, they couldn't see that.
Its really not that bad compared to a lot of stuff that gets shared around.
I end up watching some gruesome stuff and it makes you realise what a horrible world this can be for some people.
Also makes you aware everything you care about can be gone in a split second more often than not through others stupidity so I am switched on in certain situations.

I've seen the second one and now i really wish i could go back in time and decide not to watch it. It was a good shout to warn people.

not get my phone out.
Some mad/incredibly brave and selfless people jump in and help (mainly surfers - they seem to be a special breed). There was a story from up the coast a while back about a couple of 15 year olds in a tinny that went out to help and then stayed out on the water going up and down the beach warning all the swimmers.
I think the reason some people watch is because we want to know how we'd react in that situation and it's only by watching that we can start to get an idea. Unfortunately this video is so horrific that i've learned nothing about what i'd do.

Hopefully it was all over quickly, but horrific nonetheless

Couple of videos - woman lost her leg in Mexico, the African surfer although just the attack on his board and him punching it. This is first fatality recorded, horrible to see especially for those who were fishing at the time . They wont be sleeping for a long time or swimming in the ocean again unless they not all there upstairs.
