Yep.

Seems to be the pattern over the years watching Championship and league One seasons develop: Boring wins tend to be the mark of automatic promotion teams. Teams that play others off the park tend to end up in the playoffs because they just can't keep up the consistency.

We can, of course, play teams off the park too. But games and game management like today are probably more valuable in the long run.
