Finally got my runners/French beans in the ground Dubbers, so a few days of free watering is welcome at the moment.
Mind you, where there used to be grass, is now a bit of a mud bath patch where I've been walking on it to put up the canes and de-slug of a night. |  |

I'm happier in the winter for some reason, just have more energy. Anything over 30 degrees makes me lazy and even more irritable than usual. Not so much a SAD-type thing, more a general preference.
Although if anyone does suffer from SAD, a friend of mine greatly recommends these light thingymabobs to lift yer mood. |  |

Absolutely, it affects me quite a lot! I get quite irritable during the summer here as it's just too hot for me, and find myself in a much better mood in general during the temperate months through spring and autumn.
Strangely, and a complete turnaround from when I lived in Blighty, I find rain really improves my mood too. It almost never rains here (I live in Santiago, Chile, and we've probably had 15-20 days of rain per year over the last 3 since I moved here), and I love it when it does. Maybe it just reminds me of home haha. |  |

I work outside, mostly, so it’s a big factor.
A lot of f**ks thrown about the last few weeks. The off and on rain is horrendous, rather it rain all day so we know where we’re at.
Nice morning earlier, in Norwich, then some light drizzle, then brightened up again - sunny and warm, now been tipping down for the last hour or so.

Germination's been a nightmare.
I started some stuff indoors on the windowsill, but other bits outside have rotted through the cold and wet.
I'm going to have to buy tomato plants if I want to catch up with those. Those I started from seed grew to a centimetre and then stopped dead. | |

I think the perfect for me is sunny, clear and crisp. Where you can still almost see your breath but there isn't a cloud in the sky :)

The weather affects me existentially. No less than that. I am currently somewhere between furious and discombobulated. I've been told I need help, and that's probably right, but I still self-medicate... walks, meditation and creative stuff, not just booze and gear :) |  |

I think it depends on what your overall state of mind is like. When I was mildly depressed (long-term, not professionally diagnosed, and probably not very severe compared to what I know many people suffer), I found that weather did really affect how I felt. These days, now I seem to have 'got over it' the weather doesn't seem to to modify my state of mind much if at all. |  |

A bit but at least it's warmer and heavy showers are preferable to it pissing it down all day. The contrast to this time last year is probably the most frustrating thing at the moment though.
