So it's a true national lockdown unless you fancy a swim, round of golf, game of tennis, picnic in the park, a trip to the supermarket, meeting a friend outdoors, a takeaway or unlimited outdoor exercise/recreation.
A true attack on our freedoms...
With a reversal on swimming I assume gyms, indoor and outdoor sports venues and many more will say it's unfair. Are we gradually going to slip back into very light restrictions? |  |

So they're doing it again? Officially announce one thing and then drip feed information to the press that they'll likely do a u-turn.
They're absolutley feckin uselss. It doesn't really matter one way or the other what they do as long as it can be justified, but for god's sake I wish they'd think things through and communicate the rules clearly and authoritatively. No wonder people are confused and some just ignore them. |

I'm glad I'm in Wales tbh. It's been far from plain sailing here, but the comms is a lot clearer. We were very late getting clarification over eligible activities going into our latest set of restrictions, but at least the advice has been consistent since then. And we acted sooner when it was obvious tighter controls were needed. |  |

You seem to have a problem with people getting outside and making the most of the opportunity for CV safe pastimes which will be good for their physical and mental well being J2.
I for one will get out at every opportunity be that on foot, bicycle or (if allowed, not sure it is yet) motorcycle.
I would encourage you to too. A good walk, fresh air will do wonders for you at a time when sitting inside and staring at 4 walls can be extremely stressful.
All the evidence points to the outdoors being far safer than indoors. And having a healthy lifestyle is a tool against the Virus too. It is why doctors/health experts/politicians are encouraging people to get outside for exercise, even during lockdown. |

I have no issue with outdoor exercise. I will be getting out for a nice long walk each day. | |

Yes hands held up, a mate text me saying these things were ok now after seeing it on the Guardian but they didn't click on the story. They just looked at the headline which is rather different from what the story actually says.

What really irritates me is “we were never consulted over this” moaning from the different bodies. I mean, the government takes long enough to come to a decision as it is without talking to every single company it will have an impact on as well. | |
