Is there anyone else in our squad you would hang your hat on in the Championship? Or any of those you wouldn't? I think we've got a lot of decent 'fillers' like Luongo, Ball, Ladapo and Burgess but think we need another 3 or 4 of the quality of that lot above to take us to the next level.
Must be a good 6 or 7 to be shown the door to make way? Evans and Camara can both go. Jackson and Ahadme too. I can't understand why we kept Aluko. Pigott and Harper can leave. |  | | |  |

I think the group collectively is a good championship squad if I am being honest - we built our squad in L1 with that in mind.
It means we don't have to do too much work to the squad, initially 3 or 4 additions of very good quality, that could change with outgoings.

Sunderland are a complete anomaly. I'm literally saying with a couple of additions we will be a top half team? Id be delighted with that. | |

I think you are about right. If we don’t sign a centre forward our options would be Ladapo, Ahadme, and Pigott and that would be weak. We’ll obviously sign at least one centre forward so we’ll be improved. |  | | |

Exactly my thinking. As things stand I think we are a fair way away from being a playoff team which seems to be what we are really pushing towards, doesn't mean we will be at the end of the window. | |

I think Jackson might be one to move on but I'm not sure the current squad does ask a lot of him? He started 1 of our last 20 games, only made 3 substitute appearances over 20 minutes.
We used him as a relief substitute for Wes Burns, to add a bit of pace/athleticism late in games. I don't think he'd be a problem per se continuing in that role. |  |

We haven't had to as we've had the likes of Ladapo and Hirst in forward areas. Plus TJJ who played his football in the #10, but could've covered there. And Burns on the right.
But we don't have Hirst as it stands, and an injury to Ladapo would leave us presumably looking to Jackson at the moment as 'next best'. I can't see Pigott or Ahadme coming back from where they are personally.
