Already had offers of +£20k wages, effectively doubling his current salary. More a question of which club rather than when.

If we can secure another Harrison-type signing on the back of it I’d be more than happy given yesterday’s performance. And of course, there would be scope for other significant investment.

Waggy’s a great player, if we were going set up to play 4 4 2 I’d be more devastated to lose him.

Sooner the deal’s done the better for all concerned.

Well I understand that. This is what I'm saying.

But it's also not unreasonable to expect a level of professionalism either from certain members of staff in any organisation.

Edit: Lass I picked up called Jim her boss, so she obviously answered directly to him and wouldn't discuss him in any way. I thought that was really good.

It's clear not everyone has the same level of professionalism which is pretty disappointing from an employers point of view.

I completely agree with you regarding the integrity of the Club, and what I have heard was not from an employee within the Club.

However, the further these deals get down the line, the more scope there is for information to ‘leak’, for want of a better phrase.

I was agreeing with your point.

People gossip, especially about something as high profile and which garnered as much interest as football does

But you'd think Joe, they'd be strict restrictions in contracts wouldn't you.

Have people so little respect for their employee's trust?

I was surprised at the contrast of the 3 examples I offered that's all.

Maybe I'm a bit naive but I would expect better from my staff.

I use the account's junior example because it once happened to me and I was livid.

I suppose this is the flip side to paying staff poorly and relying on them being fans and want to work there because they love the club. It means that you have fans who associate with other fans and like to see themselves as a bit of an insider.

Not saying it’s right, but it’s also not just employees - there are a myriad of channels for details to leak out, and lots of axes to grind

I think your three examples are a very good example of people’s integrity within companies generally , from my experience anyway.

Regardless of what guidelines are laid down, some will he honour them entirely and others won’t be able to contain themselves.

I'm assuming a deal will be agreed eventually.

I’m not so convinced.

Think a lot depends on Derby & Boro selling first as we want a large chunk upfront.

Most loose talk comes from the training ground.
