Just heard there was a 10 day gap between the govt deciding on a lockdown and the lockdown being implemented.
How the fck in 2020 can it take 10 days to implement a policy when every single day's delay cost lives?
"The blob" is often used in a disparaging way to slate the civil service and their resistance to change etc. but 10 days really does seem beyond ridiculous in such an urgent case.
