Having listened to the game today and the reality that we are a club still slipping down the pecking order with further to fall even selecting a weakened team. But apart from a few names ( Downes etc) we have asembled a very average squad of players that are simply not up to the task whether its ability or attitude to win.
Off the pitch the issue is greater Weak senior managers, recruiting weak coaches and management and poor business decisions backed up by declining investment will only highlight the issue further.
So this is where we are, left pretty rudderless by the owner and a manager who seems to have been found out since parting company with Culverhouse .
The current squad is weak but it's not all of their fault; not investing wisely in talent is the real reason a club like Cambridge can now take us on and beat us over 90 minutes
A real people manager could still get us in the mix this season. I am sure ME will already have his doubts with PL
