Blackburn’s population is about 120k and given the density of clubs around there an 11k crown isn’t too bad. I went to Blackburn a couple of times with work in the early 2000s. The best I can say of the place is that it was always good to leave it behind. |  | | |

Their support has really drifted away. The gate for the Derby game I saw was officially 17k, but although Derby sold out, I could read the wording in the opposite stand and seriously doubt there was more than 12 or 13k.
I know from a couple of Charlton supporters I know that they’re very disillusioned with their owner and they barely signed anyone in the summer. They look to be mid table/drifting a bit and maybe that’s part of it. I hope we can take advantage end of October. | | | |

Yeah that's not great, but it's only about 1,500 less than their average. Given that Watford is pretty far away, and that it was a Tuesday night, it's probably about what was expected. I don't think we have anything to fear in the Championship. There are only 4 teams in that league with higher average gates than us so far this season. |  | | |
