Palace look quite weak and their form was abysmal at the end of last season.

What odds you getting? We're 4/1 to be promoted, they're 2/1 to go down.

I don't think even money is great. Baring in mind we're 4/1 to go up, and I would fully expect Palace to have enough about them. They were comfortable last season and Roy is a wiley old fox, they won't go down under him.

I think they lost 8 of their last 9 matches....

Not convinced that that kind of horrific form can be put down to being on the beach.

I think Palace are the kind of club who thrive on the atmosphere of their homes games, and that gives them a bit of an edge. Maybe they are missing their fans more than some others.

I would have definitely taken that 2 weeks ago as Palace were one of my tips to go down. Not so sure now with Batshuayi and Eze signed.

Be interesting to see. I think it would've been hard for them to get themselves up for it after the break when they had little to play for, and others did. Just looking now, they had some tough games in that 9. Liverpool, Wolves and Leicester away. Chelsea, United, Spurs at home. Agree defeats to Burnley & Villa look disappointing.

Not expecting them to tear it up by any means, just thing they're solid enough for a finish outside the bottom 3. The promoted teams are always the ones tipped to go back down, and invariably at least 1 does better than expected. I think this season especially they've got their work cut out. Really interested to see how Leeds, Fulham, WBA adjust to life in the Premier League. Certainly should be interesting.

At Even money, your mate has the value. It’s 4/1 and 15/8 the pair so I’d not touch it if I were you.

If you are feeling bullish make it Palace to go down and Town to go up?

Someone has to go down with WBA and Fulham..... its probably a four horse race between Villa, Brighton, Leeds and Sheff U..... Palace are safe as houses on that basis

As someone who doesn’t trouble the bookies very often, but likes a wager with my brother, it’s not really about the value, more the opportunity to see his face when it’s pay up time

Leeds? They will finish top half easily.

Villa - no goals in the team will be in trouble, also Burnley are due to decline, not adding to the squad much at all and Dyche cannot keep performing miracles.

Agree on WBA and Fulham.

To be honest there are about 8 teams who could go down, throw in West Ham as well.

Newcastle will be ok this year.

Yeah as someone else says it's partly because I've been bigging up our chances of going up.

Might suggest 40/50
