Potentially some fans favourites for the chop next season. 17:19 - Apr 2 with 6996 viewsFrimleyBlue

Can't see us just wanting a couple of strikers and a lwb

Chaplin.. aluko.. burns.. celina

All club favs. But will they be KMs when he has the chance to change things a bit..

It's hard to say which one or two might be replaced. I just can't see all of them being required by KM when we have struggled against lower sides and struggled to score goals.

Arguments for each of why they should play
But also arguments for each on why they might not.

Aluko lack of goals
Chaplin.. what exactly is his strong point.
Burns.. hero. But is his delivery good enough? Can we carry him when he's marked out of a game...
Celina. Might not be here anyway... but also is league 1 to low for him and players not good enough around him to read the game like he can

To add to this as everyone lost their minds at the thought of replacing some mentioned.

Chaplin 2 goals in 25 games
Celina 2 in 20+
Aluko 2 or 3 all season

Burns has literally carried the side thankfully but can still be reminded of the times he's thrown away very very good chances. Or passing opportunities and rarely puts the ball in the box from deep

No you're right.

I fully expect KM to not make the team stronger. Its clearly strong enough.

We all want the team to be stronger but to single out someone like Burns for example shows that you have no clue at all!

Sure there are some players who could go go but please Burns & Chaplin! Give your head a wobble

Another daft thing to say. You make the team stronger by replacing the weakest players, not the best ones.

It would be easy to reply yes but given that your post is such gash it’s not worth it and you won’t listen anyway! You never do.

Personally I think you are a troll.

And by the way it’s bearing in mind and too difficult.

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my comment though on Burns and where you see anyone else in that position who would deliver those goals

Regarding Burns. There isn't that's why he's a favourite. Next question.

If you don't think the 4 players you mentioned are good enough you really haven't got a clue. Of course he'll strengthen but not at the expense of the players you mentioned. You're just a troll.

Again there is no one singled out apart from you and others doing so. It's a list of our final third players who have collectively failed to compete in certain fixtures. Been part of a team who have struggled to score across a range of fixtures and struggled to break down certain teams.

I'll be very surprised if its not changed for next season so that we can do better overall.

“That’s why he’s a favourite” you baffle me. He should be one of the first names on the team sheet. As I said he’s in the team on merit and not because he’s a fan’s favourite.

You still failed to answer me on where we would be or who you see replacing those 10 goals from RWB/RM? Maybe you’d like Gwion Edwards or Judge back?

I'll be very surprised to see more than 2 of those in next seasons lineup.

To be fair I agree, but not because they're not good enough. I'd be amazed if we keep hold of Celina and I can possibly see Aluko's age working against him when it comes to McKenna making tough decision.

Burns may attract attention from the lower end of the Championship but I can't see any extraordinary bids coming in that we'd be willing to accept. I don't think Chaplin has done enough to warrant any moves upwards.

You'd build a league that can win promotion. To do so you may need different types of players.

With how we've struggled to win certain games and how we've struggled with certain situations I can see us bringing in players with perhaps different abilities than those mentioned.

But no. Let's just stick with whats failed and hope for the best

Kevin Davies should be playing for England as an holding midfielder.

You lost and never recovered any football credibility you had with that comment, so please forgive me for never taking anything you post about football seriously.

OK, from this I get your logic so I suppose the question we need to ask is are our supporting attacking players as responsible for our scoring issues as our strikers?

You're saying Burns has failed?

No. The attacking outlet has failed in a range of fixtures. Why? That's upto KM to figure out.

I can't see it just being a lack of striker. Hence why I feel KM may look at alternatives in the final third. What and where I'm not sure. But I can't see us sticking with the current options who have indeed struggled in certain situations.

It's a difficult one as they have as individuals all contributed to such a great level it would be hard to imagine the lineup with any of them..

But are their individual weaknesses resulting in us failing in certain situations.. that is what I'm unsure of.

Sometimes I have just thought it's just the strikers. But can he be that simple when we've tried various strikers who've not exactly been goal shy..

Again. People are playing the poster not the post here and getting all emotionally attached with the players mentioned. I get that. But that's the point of the subject line.
