The club has managed to keep these ones closer to their chest, maybe after what happened with George Hirst being stalked and hounded that is for the best, but I am honestly at a loss to even make a guess at who it is. I would expect a centre half but no idea who! Any guesses?

MA said 2 OR 3 coming in, he didnt say they wouldnt be loans. So Brandon Williams has come in, so there may be one or two more, there is still a week to go. One of them maybe Rak Sakyi , and only then would Edwards be allowed to go i would imagine, and one of them maybe a centre back and only then will Baggot be allowed to go on loan. We are no longer shopping for championship quality players to bring to league one, we are looking for premiership quality fringe players to bring to the championship, similar to the profile of Brandon Williams and Rak Sakyi. We wont be allowing Baggot and Edwards to go unless we get players in and the premiership sides are the same. Anyone who has ever watched transfer deadline day on sky sports will know how late these deals can get done sometimes. In my opinion, it has not been a disastrous transfer window at all getting Jack Taylor, George Hurst and Brandon Williams in.

Rak sakyi came on for the final 15ish mins of palace’s last game and with Man City looking like they’re going to sign eze it would feel like that one probably won’t happen, unless of course palace are still looking at bringing in some forward players with the money eze generates for them. Either way looks like that could either be one we find really late in the window, or we get someone else in for that role which would surely kill that move. | | | |

You may well be right, It may not be Sakyi at all, but the club will be working on multiple fronts to see what they can make happen. We wont bring in players who aren't better than we have already. When it is announced on this very site that we are talking to someone, than i think that will be the first we hear of whoever it may be and when this site announces we are talking to someone I also take it as 95% certain its pretty much a done deal. The better calibre of player we are trying to get in, the harder it is. | |

"We Still Feel We'd Like Two or Three More" is not the same as "there will be two or three further signings".
Despite how many people like to interpret comments from Ashton and McKenna as guarantees of signings, it seems obvious to me that there are deals that they are looking to do but we may not sign anyone else in this window if we can't do it at the right price and within the wage structure | | | |
