BBC Suffolk commentary 13:42 - Jan 2 with 1103 viewsGeorge25

Just seen because of tier 4 restrictions for a number of EFL clubs the bbc have stopped away local commentators traveling to away games, with the home side providing commentary for iFollow. When games resume does anyone know if this will be the same for ITFC?

If it is a BBC wide policy the same will probably happen for our matches.

Just another indication of the way Covid restrictions can be tightened.

There is a need to reduce contact further. Saying you cannot travel more than say, 25 miles from home wouldn’t be workable but you could more easily ban travel from one county to another even if it does throw up a lot of anomalies where boundaries are not necessarily logical. The eastern bulge in the Suffolk boundary to encompass Newmarket is a good example. Driving along the A143 from Scole to Gt Yarmouth is another.

It does apply to our games.
