" That is the evidence may reveal a pattern of behaviour by a
Government agency that comes within the definition of collusion.'

Just heard on a report on the radio - they are saying the report found that the Police colluded with loyalist terrorists in the killing of 11 people.

Expect there will be much more coverage over the day - has to be a statement in parliament too I'd have thought.

Experience tells me you shouldn't hold your breath in regards to seeing any individuals actually held to account for that collusion.

Poll: This new lockdown poll - what you reckon?

Think I can let my breath out now.

Great to see the public outcry on this.

I will file it away with this one.

Dark days.

A lot of organisations have/had bad apples. Garda included.

Lee Clegg & Dennis Hutchings both went to trial. Going forward, under the Good Friday agreement, out of all the historic events only RUC & security forces wil be prosecuted.

Agree with you regarding the dark times and 'bad apples' on all sides however to enable closure on the whole thing there needs to be accountability. All forms of truth and reconciliation needs to be done in an open and honest fashion.

For example, the two soldiers you mentioned effectively escaped justice ( whatever that is ). Lee Clegg was released after two years and Dennis Hutchings passed away before his trial ( he was 80 at that stage ).

Here is another report which covers all sides in the conflict.
It makes very sad reading, Protestants killing Catholics, Catholics killing Protestants, Catholics killing Catholics, Protestants killing Protestants, Armed Forces killing Catholics, Catholics killing Armed Forces, punishment beatings.

Another chapter of evil.

The IRA eventually revealed the remains locations but because of the long delay and changes in the terrain some of 'The Disappeared' remain so.
