You remoaners don't exactly help yourselves 19:27 - Feb 6 with 12236 viewspickles110564

The unelected fools are just the gift that keeps on giving.
Their masks are slipping, a out time too.
They are fast approaching recessions in their countries no wonder they are desperate to hang on to our contributions.

Spain then threatens to close the border with Gibraltar if we don't concede fishing rights.

The EU insists customs facilities are installed on the Irish side of the NI border, causing a crisis in the province. Hard-line groups take advantage of this to increase recruitment.

Queues of lorries form at Dover and Calais, slowed down by the extra admin. Supply chains become increasingly strained.

Your move.

The EU has to explain to its farmers why their produce is rotting at their docks and not being paid.
They have to explain why they now have to up what they pay in as they have lost all of the UK contributions.

Your move Junker.

So our rash decision to get up and leave starts a petty tit for tat escalation of tensions and break down of relations build up over previous decades?

Might be more sensible to take a period of time to get things sorted before we leave. Say, two years?

Yes it has been fantastic, just need to use their remarks to reinforce why we need to leave. The more times they are played on the news channels the more anti EU feelings will grow.

Have you seen the videos of the yellow vests cheering for FREXIT? Wont be long before the EU implodes on itself.

And if that happens small isolated European countries will be at the mercy of China, Russia and the U.S. The whole thing is a economic and political disaster. Most of the problems in this country such as poverty, growing inequalities are nothing to do with the European Community. It's just part of the world becoming a nastier less cooperative place. People voting leave have been conned by Farage, Johnson and the rest. I look at the pie chart on my annual tax return of which our contribution to the European Union is a tiny segment to bring home how ridiculous this all is.

So, farmers in the EU can only sell their produce to the UK? And where is the UK going to buy the produce seeing that we will have no trade deals in place to buy it?

Spain, Greece, no British tourists visiting, Spanish and Greeks rioting against their government

French farmers unable to sell their goods in the UK huge lost of income, French farmers rioting against their Gov.

Goods coming into the UK from China instead of being forced to charge 22% tariff we can charge a lot less making things a lot cheaper, great for the low paid.

You haven't tackled the issues facing you yet. Spain are still threatening to cut off Gib. A couple of violent incidents happen in NI. Supply chains are still under strain, tho the queues are easing as transport companies use longer, more expensive routes.

Juncker blames the delays on Britain. Everyone believes him. There is political unrest in Germany at higher contributions.

So your master plan is for both the UK and the EU to be fooked? Excellent, that'll end well.

He was only talking about Brexiters with no plan.
Which is probably why so many Brexiters are so angry.

The big long line of Brexiters with a plan are ... err ... over there ...

So you haven’t heard of the World Trade Organisation? It is a rather bureaucratic process to put trade agreements in place. We could always rely on North Korea and its ilk to keep up the supply chain

Another project fear fake news, that all businesses have to do is sell all those things they sell to the UK now to other people in the world.

You can just picture those lovely people at BMW....
don't worry we'll lose 8% of our sales when the UK leaves but no problems we'll sell those to other people in the world. So why aren't you selling another 8% now to the rest of the world BMW? That's because we're good eu corporate citizens and deliberately don't.

Oh yes that well known protectionist bureaucratic organisation called the EU.
That wastes our money moving lock stock and barrel twice a year between two different parliament buildings. You really are scraping the bottom now.

'By elected governments'

If I remember correctly the UK opposed Juncker but we were outvoted.

Juncker is President of the EU Commission and has the position by virtue of being the head of the largest bloc from the 2014 European elections (the one that most countries' conservative parties are members of).

Tusk is President of the Council and elected by national governments. The only country that opposed his re-election in 2017 was Poland (the UK voted for him in both 2014 and 2017).

It's depressing that the 'unelected' nonsense is still being trotted out.

The EU introduces a simple visa waiver scheme which allows easy travel from the UK to Europe.

French farmers were rioting against their government already. No change there.

China makes bigger profits. The UK buys a lot of poor-quality steel.

Unhelpful from Tusk and difficult to see what he was trying to achieve, even if I do share his contempt for the charlatans who set this in motion and then fled when the going got tough.
