True enough.
OK, "I'm planning to hit the beers much harder than usual and pass out in a pile of cheap Polish lager cans and discarded Indian takeaway boxes around 9pm."
That sound any better?
Now you are just flirting with me.

That's the point I keep coming back to.
Do you believe that this massive turnout has been inspired by Trump to vote for him, or against him? Don't forget to factor in that he's never had an approval rating above 50%.
I can't see how he's found and inspired millions of additional voters who typically don't vote, or vote democratic.
I just can't see it. I believe these people are largely coming out to vote against him. I'll find out tomorrow I guess!
This is where you hope common sense does come into our analysis.
What has an undecided voter seen in the last 4 years that makes you go, "yep, Trump is my guy".
Is it the racism, xenophobia, impeachment, sexual abuse accusations, Covid f*ckup etc etc

How many answering the polls will say they are voting Biden or undecided and then in the privacy of the voting booth vote Trump?
It's not over until it's over innit. I hope the polls are right, but they are just polls. An exit poll of this magnitude would be more reassuring, but for now I'm assuming it's an open race.

It's 2020, so yeah, most likely. Politics is just the new theatre of the absurd; the stupider and less competent you are, the more likely you are to win.

If they genuinely think Trump will improve their lives, i’m sure some will.
Yet most of his base will see their taxes rise in the next 18 months, their jobs will disappear from industries Trump promised to protect and hundreds of thousands will die from Covid.

Cheers for speaking on my behalf :)
The idea that Trump was not going to last very long came from within his own party and those we work with in the US Government. Shockingly, there appears a lot of mis-information coming out of the GOP...
I've never expressed "Surprise" that he would have a good chance. 43%+ of the country will vote for whoever the Republican candidate is. Trump or whoever. I just don't see a path to victory for him this time in the key states he needs to win. He has lost the 'surprise' factor he had in 2016. He is now one of the Washington Elite.
And importantly Biden isn't Clinton.
Nutter!!!

That is basically the premise behind the methodology of the Trafalgar Group polls. They poll in a way that is supposed to allow people to be more comfortable in answering honestly.
They predicted the Trump win in 2016 and are predicting another Trump win.
Oh how I joked with my American friends that they had elected an idiot for 8 years. Sigh....

I don't believe in god, but god help us if that's the case.

What is their electoral college prediction?
"They break our legs and tell us to be grateful when they offer us crutches."
345 - 193 to Biden. Can’t see a scenario where Biden ends up with less than 300, but I’m hoping for a land slide.
I would love for Texas to flip. Long-term demographics are against the republicans, and it was predicted to become swing state in the coming elections, but it’s been accelerated. It may force the party to move away from Trump style politics, and to become more centrist in terms of policy.

Pronouns: He/Him/His.
"Imagine being a heterosexual white male in Britain at this moment. How bad is that. Everything you say is racist, everything you say is homophobic. The Woke community have really f****d this country."

Latest poll
B+ pollster so not the best but not the worst either. It's a shame that national polling lead doesn't matter too much with the way the electoral college works (otherwise we would have had President Clinton...).
Saying that, an 11% popular vote lead that didn't also win the EC is hard to picture.

Agree. Just one of the latest to still give double digit leads the day before.
Lets hope the ‘northern 3’ call early and that will be enough for Biden
