aiui the club are licensed to sell alcohol till at least 2300 in the bars, like any normal pub licence, as it needs to if you think of course there are midweek games, or concerts or when they hire out the place the hours need to be extended till late in the evening, they dont have a special oh its a Saturday football match so we can only serve till 17:30 licence, and a special its Ed Sheeran concert playing so we need to serve till later Saturday licence. So its always been their choice imo to shut early post games, just because theyre never really going to make alot of money from it as the vast majority of the fans leave, and all their staff want to go home too and lock the place up. Even if the licence did have some crazy specific restriction on it, theres nothing preventing them from actually just asking to extend it. |  | |  |
