Therein lies the issue. Value and performances do not correlate that well.

Let's hope we are the exception to that lack of correlation over the rest of the season.

It seems most of these valuations have been made very much with the fans in mind. £11.1m for Morecambe and Cheltenham? I'd imagine they (and many others in the league) would snap your hand off if you offered them those valuations for their squads.

Any squad is actually worth what other clubs will pay for the players isn't it? Right now, that is nothing as we are outside a transfer window! What clubs might pay in January will depend a lot on how players do between now and then. However, there are probably a lot of League 1 players generally that no club would be looking to pay a fee for in January.
