Joe Pigott 11:57 - Mar 20 with 650 views | OriginalMarkyP | He's getting some pelters on here and rightly so, but I don't think it's purely a case of him not being good enough. I think it's a case of him not being fast enough. I think KMcK's style of play relys on fast forwards able to burst into gaps and break the line or arrive late into the box at pace having lost the marking to score unchallenged. Joe is slow. Certainly compared to the others. Obvs in a 60 yard dash Jackson wins, Norwood and Bonne fight it out for second but I reckon Joe is comfortably last. Now that might be OK if he was playing better and creating goals for himself outside the system but he isn't and won't with the lack of confidence he's currently showing. I think he needs to go to a club whose tactics suit him better and rediscover himself.

It's a massive down grade especially for the style and speed as you say that we attack with. Jackson Is the ideal striker. I can see us using Jacksons profile for our striker targets this summer.

I knew (hoped) Jackson would come good. He just needed a half decent manager who could see how to use him. It’s such a shame he got injured as he was back in a good place after years of crap, and you can tell he knew too from his reaction.

At this level you can't have that gift of pace and stamina and not be a threat. As he said KM actually looks at what he can do not what he can't.

McK’s a breath of fresh air isn’t he. So many players have been rejuvenated under him; Woolf, Donacien, Jackson… Cook, Lambert and most of the other Herberts Evans used to pick would be looking to spend money to replace, when the players were never the problem.

Joe Pigott on 12:36 - Mar 20 with 505 views | urbanblue | I was only thinking exactly the same today. McKenna's style seems to be built around fitness, speed and pace. Pigott's languid style doesn't appear to fit the profile. Ditto Rakeem Harper ... I feel really sorry for Pig. I think he's a good player but it's just not happening for him at the moment.

I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with Edwards. Harper in the summer. Dobra may still be saved from non league etc. If anything so far the management of players is showing that you get the best out of players when you ask them to do what they are good at. It's so so simple isn't it lol.
