Anyone tried Windows 11 ? on 19:53 - Dec 15 with 890 views | SlippinJimmyJuan | I've got a pretty beefy HP laptop with an AMD processor that is about two years old. I updated from 10 to 11 because it asked me to and I was feeling obliging. I use the laptop a lot every day, but I don't use many particularly demanding programmes. I can't say that I have noticed any real benefit or consequence either way, other than the new look which is fine. Probably only worth updating if you are on something older than 10 or on a brand new machine. Only real issue I have had was with downloading smaller updates in the first few weeks, but now everything seems to work as seamlessly as before.

Anyone tried Windows 11 ? on 20:46 - Dec 15 with 833 views | TractorBrew | Been running it for about a month now at work, and finding some basic windows functionality quicker (file searching etc). Laptop is only 6 months old and high spec, so not sure if there are some benefits of running it on newer tech? UX is a bit different, but once you get used to it it is pretty intuitive, possibly more so than 10 (a lot more apple feel to it). Particularly like the multi desktop switching, which is nice when running presentations etc
