These things were always equal parts terrifying and exciting when I was there - imagine the adrenaline you get from a sky dive or theme park ride, and dial it up to 11. Beautiful, yet ugly - but always PART of a very dangerous weather system.
This tornado was about F3 on the scale, and was part of a few storms that made up a squall line, rather than a super cell.
