Anyone know the best way from Moor Street to St Andrews?

We normally travel to Solihull by car and get a train to Bordesley. With trains not going there on Saturday, how did people get to the ground last weekend?

I think trains do go to Bordesley on match days.

Normally they do but not according to the timetable. This game was first on the fixture card for the 8th and got moved to the 7th.

Also I believe there is a train strike.

I think we're going to walk, it's only about 30 minutes in total.

We walked it last weekend... about 30 mins from New Street and an absolute hell hole of a place. That said, we ended up in the 'Art District' on the way back which had some decent food and places for beers. Other than that, try the Crown... that was quite nice... Birmingham is terrible though, I shudder to think what Coventry is like.

Birmingham isn't too bad over all these days, much improved from a few decades back. The bit around St Andrews hasn't been part of that though....

Number 17 or 60 bus, worth using Google maps to find the right bus stop. Hop off just before St Andrews near the mentioned train station.
