Bringing Hirst in means he can rotate the front two again, like he did with Ladapo and John-Jules.

Hirst was dead by half time. Its a strange loan in a way as he seems to be a handful of games from match fitness. But hopefully we can get ahead and get him on with game already won.

All three CB's have been iffy and unreliable in the last few weeks so deserved to be dropped tonight. Others need their opportunity to impress.

Ladapo know where near good enough! You make I laugh boy! Part of a team that’s been top 3 all season - shows how rubbish he is!

Hirst will start against Burnley. He is't match fit at the moment so better to bring him on in the second half and then play him Saturday.

Burgess definitely. Apart from Saturday Woolfenden's been ok.

Would love to get a left footed CB in before next Tuesday but doesn't sound like it will happen

Keogh and Edmundson played together against Morecambe earlier in the season. Woolfy had a rest and came back next game.

Don't see the issue really. Our defence have been shaky since before Xmas, and certainly with the late goals we seem to be conceding. Having a rethink is maybe what is needed - if only to do something different from the usual tactics.


I suppose not. And we know he liked to rotate the front players when he had options. So maybe he’ll be mixing up the defence more now that we’ve got Clarke. Or maybe Woolf’s got a knock.

As I said in an earlier post, Keogh and Edmundson were the two CB's when we beat Morecambe away earlier in the season.
