Think the headline could be a little misleading.

"She also stressed that she actually moved the men in question into a virtual waiting room before the remaining councillors voted to remove them."

And "The reports also concluded that three former councillors — who all resigned — had breached parts of the Code of the Conduct.

Three current councillors were cleared of breaching the rules but were told their ‘behaviour cannot be said to be exemplary’.

The councillors who resigned said they do not recognise the independent investigation’s findings as ‘valid’."

She was not a councilor. She tipped up at the meeting and decided to chair the meeting

When elected councillors protested that she has no authority to act as chair, never mind what she did, they were then moved out of the meeting.

She was nor appointed, or co opted by the council after a vote. What part of that seems to have been missed by you ?

Imagine someone doing that at a local, district or county council meeting

I accept the daft old bat probably had no idea, but that folk around the country thought it was OK to usurp the lawful democratic process is very concerning.

Tomorrows Speaker at the HoC will be some herbert who has walked off the street, who when challenged will eject MPs who question what he is doing
