TBH this is the only time I‘ve laughed all day.
Was forced out to my local Morrison’s today to do a much needed big shop for both my family and my parents, determined to follow the guidelines, Including putting my parents shopping by the front door, ringing the door bell and retreating 2 metres.
I ended up having words with a number of people in the shop who just routinely got within about 20cm of me. It wasn’t even particularly busy.It was a bloody nightmare.
I hate to say it but it seemed to be the elderly that were generally ignoring the advice.
Morrison’s itself was superbly set up and well organised. [Post edited 25 Mar 2020 20:18]

My local chippy is still open, but is taking orders & seems to be functioning safely. However, the vastly superior one in Boreham Wood has shut, but I gather that's down to concerns for the owner's family & staff, some of whom are high risk. |  |

I hadn't thought about it before, but I bet these new plastic notes are better carriers of the virus than the old paper ones.
