Don’t remember if this has been done before, but how about Town sides composed of one single home nation. I’ll start with the Scots (which I am not, but I thought it would be one of moderate difficulty). This side has lots of oldies because I struggled to think of more recent Scottish players for Town — tell me who I have forgotten.

When Jackie Milburn signed Thorburn and it was pointed out how many goals he had conceded for Rath Rovers the previous season, he replied that it was not the goalkeeper it was the defence in front of him.

Nope, he got picked for a squad whilst with us, can't remember for which game. Him and Wrighty got their first call up at the same time whilst we were in Division one. I recall all the consternation amongst 5 live callers, along the lines of 'who?' and 'maybe the keeper, but not that other one' | |
