3rd to 6th place is wide open now 21:50 - Feb 8 with 854 viewsDubtractor

That's great news for us as a couple of weeks ago it looked like we were in a group of teams chasing 1 place.

The more teams dragged down into the scrap the better.

Nice to see a bit of daylight below us as well, even if the likes of Pompey have a couple of games in hand. Reasons to be cheerful

Yes, things have bunched up a bit. It's there for us now if we show the form we should. Saturday is huge, there's no dressing that up. Worth noting MK Dons and Sunderland play each other the week after.

There is also a healthy gap developing below us in the league table, a gap of 5 points.

A victory over MK Dons is essential but we will have to take more of our chances than we have this evening. It really should have been a comfortable win.

Elsewhere, this weekend, Wycombe are away to Lincoln; Oxford at home to Bolton and Sheffield Wednesday at home, on Sunday, against runaway leaders Rotherham.
We may be grinding out results but we are getting closer.

Looking further ahead Easter looks a tad awkward away to Rotherham, home to Wigan..All we can hoe for is that as we go into those games we are still in the hunt.

We’ve put ourselves in an amazing position.

If we can get through Saturday then we have a comfortable home double.

Saturday is really must win territory.
