Agreed, just constant periods of silence and little description of what's going on and where. Plus Carlos Edwards (Co commentator I think) seems much quieter than the lead commentator.
Is there a way of getting Suffolk commentary online, obviously not in the official way as that's still not online. |  | | |

I have 8 radios in the house, none of them will get Radio Suffolk as it's a local radio service for the Suffolk area, & I live over 200 miles away in N. Yorkshire. | |

The problem is that there's a massive difference between a TV commentary and a radio commentary. What we got from the new team was a TV commentary, which was adequate if you were able to watch the game. It's absolutely not fit for purpose if you're just listening to the game. Constant dead air, no description of who has the ball where, the flow and patterns of the game etc. There are occasions I can't watch the game because I'm out so I would stream the audio while in the car. That's been fine with Brenner. If I'd been just listening to the game today, I'd have come away with zero real idea how we looked.

I don't think this is down to I-follow but instead this is a result of Ashton's decision to take things inhouse and so presumably make more money. From what I can recall, someone mentioned on a post that the I-follow TV commentary for the last game of last season was inhouse, and had Edmundson co-commenting. Presumably, it is now this commentary which goes out for those who subscribe to audio coverage. I assume it is cheaper to just repeat that commentary, rather than paying something to Radio Suffolk for it. It is really a shame, but the only saving grace is that it is possible to listen to Final Whistle on BBC Sounds, and get Mick Mills or Alex Mathie's views on the game. |  | | |

That's strange. I was able to listen to it yesterday on the way back from the game, and because I didn't get to my car until about 5.25 was able to rewind it to the beginning (just after the final whistle) on the BBC Sounds App. | | | |
