For two reasons really -

One is ushering the ball out of play for a Millwall corner, which they scored from.

Second is having the ball under complete control away at Burton only to slice it out at a 90 degree angle.

Got to be Bullard , 20k a week wasn’t it ? Couple of decent performances then retires after the ultimate clamour to get him in

Huws looked great, signed perm then injured and barely seen this season when we desperately need central midfielders

Adeyemi - big name in the champ looked decent signing, shocking injury record then disappeared

There are so many but I think it’s largely unfair to look at freebies/very cheapies as Banter Era. Someone like Paul Taylor was on enormous money, was a bad player, and by some accounts a pretty terrible person. He’s banter; Balint Bajner isn’t, for eg.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Yeah, I was trying to narrow it down to players who came in for a sum or quite huge fanfare and failed miserably.

I suppose Lee Martin would be another.

As you say Bajner wouldn't be on my Banter list.

Exactly cheap punts which many come good eg Moore or Mings. Much more Bantz pay someone 10-20k a week to be absent/injured/terrible/

David Norris, nothing against him but we massively overpaid for a very limited player who ran around a lot but unbalanced every midfield we tried to fit him into.

I agree largely but some of the freebies simply have to be included for sheer levels of ineptitude - eg. Best as per above post or Toure purely for his corner and chucking his shirt in the crowd at Doncaster
