I wish I had voted Remain now. on 08:12 - Jan 29 by BanksterDebtSlave | The only reason for this post was to reflect the other one about the benefits of Brexit and curiosity to see how more of the same would have led to an obviously necessary reset of economics and the society it creates. I think you are the first to address it by saying that they eventually learn from their mistakes so fair enough.....I'm not so sure they are prepared to learn about the Euro. I still believe that the EU is a cumbersome behemoth and too entrenched in its structures for meaningful and necessary reforms. |
"led to an obviously necessary reset " oops, another lie The curious thing, is that despite all the lies and bullsht the UK has merely stayed with EU schedules for its 'deals'. Which means when the EU changes something...............the UK has to fall in line, only this time with no say in the matter. Where previously it was an open global trading nation, it has not become an insular, inward looking mation. Money that could have been spend on the NHS, rducation and training is now spent on the 4m a week extra customs forms and a mountain of redtape at the border see hold ups at Dover, NI protocol The gormless were told that once the IK left and naughty foreigners were sent home, there would be jobs ' plenty. There are, but no UK workers to fill them, even after the companies who have now moved to the EI are added to the equation. What was pewddled, and still is *see quote above) is all reminiscent of the guff US citizens believe about the NHS. "It's sosh a lisum' , People will be pretending to be ill not get free treatment, it is like the days of Florence Nightingale.... yee ha" In reality the average brexiteer hasn't a clue about how the EU works and what it does. Ask them to explain, briefly, what the EU Parliament, commission and council are/do and you will draw a blank. Theres is a world of the little Englander, beset by hate and bigotry that imagines backward isolation will see the country through. Let's burden business with regulation and taxes, close down trade and we can be self sufficient. An idea that fell apart before it even begun.

Can you explain how conjecture about an unknown future outcome can be a lie Harry? Perhaps you don't think the global economy and who it serves needs a reset you dreadful rightie. Perhaps take 10 deep breaths before launching on your diatribe.

I wish I had voted Remain now. on 08:01 - Jan 29 by fab_lover | The only way in which I can forgive people who voted Leave is if I feel their mental competency didn't allow them to make a full impact assessment. Sadly, that's far too high a percentage of the population for my liking. IMHO it was "£350m a week on the NHS" which was the tipping factor, which shows you: a) how the majority don't understand what a fiat economy is; b) how the majority don't understand how much the EU subscription actually cost them per head, and what an incredibly good deal it was. Germany ++ in fact. I'm not going to "forgive". Those responsible should be tried for treason. |
I’m so glad you sanctimonious tw&ts with your vast undeserved moral superiority lost, and I speak as someone who voted Remain.

You can't treally help yourself can you ? You, farge, Johnson.......lie after lie after lie "I was just thinking how more of the same was going to get us all to the promised land of milk and honey for all, less stuff and an entirely necessary reset of economies and society...I feel obliged to list all the ways that was going to happen so here goes... No one was making promises about milk and honey other than you brexiteers. All the Remain vote did was point out the lies inherent in those promises. Society will continue to evolve, just as it has done through chattel slavery, feudalism and capitalism, The idea of a reset might play well with your sort, that the UK could take a huge leap backward to the days of horses, canals and the spinning jenny. Perhaps a Pol Pot type reset is what you have in mind. Getting rid of the intelligenciar (establishment) and have society ran by those who have not earned their wealth, and those who do not earn much in the way of wealth. However, the proof is in the pudding as evidenced by how few nutters and liars are now telling the rest of us about the 40 new deals on day one, they need us more than we need them and that no one is threatening our place in the Single Market. I wonder why
