The last few weeks have suggested that Bishop is over his injuries so yes, in normal circumstances, I would expect to get 30+ starts out of him.
Obviously you cannot guarantee that any individual player will not get an injury or injuries but the last few weeks have made me believe that Bishop is now able to be at the same starting point as anyone else regarding fitness. |
I want to be wrong about Bishop because if he’s fully fit and able to withstand a 46 game league one season then he’d be a real asset. I just can’t see it happening. | |

The irony is that Lambert said something about bringing in 7 or 8 new players in the summer was madness, and yet we need 7 or 8 new players to stand any chance of promotion next season. |

Bit extreme. But take Judge, Bishop, Downes, Lankester, Nolan away and wouldn't be disappointed to see any of them leave.
To only have 5 players in a 20+ squad to be good enough is outrageous.

You’re right, I have. Having watched them over the past few weeks I can see they’re not good enough. Hyped and talked up by Lambert but Brentford showed us what quality young players really look like. Awful Friday, poor again today and not good enough. |

I did point out your contradicting yourself before but this time I have said that I think you were closer to being right the first time.
We are playing in League One next season not The Champions League.
One of the reasons that we are playing in League One is because Hurst signed a number of (good) League One players, not good enough for The Championship but able to play in League One.
That is why I think what you said last month was closer to being right. | | | |
