Sean Dyche interview. on 09:06 - Sep 24 by Cheltenham_Blue | You understand thats exactly what he's saying right? That the Premier League shouldn't help the EFL, because the Premier League are successful and the EFL aren't. The point he, and apparently you, are missing, is that the Premier League are only successful because they have repeatedly shafted the EFL. |
Anyone like me really not bothered about promotion to the "Promised Land" ? The thought makes my skin crawl . I despise the Premier League Rock and a hard place I guess but personally if we never step foot in that league again ,I've missed nothing

On a practical level it would do the club good. We haven't had many opportunities to enjoy it but seeing Town play against the biggest clubs in the country should always be an aspiration. I understand the disgust and dislocation you and others feel from the top league, but there really isn't anything particularly alluring about Town playing out their future against the bottom 47 clubs in the country. I appreciate that they may well be our future, but the potential opportunity to play against the very best clubs has to stay in place as an incentive. If we found ourselves shut away and never having that possibility again, I'd probably walk away from the club. I couldn't dream of supporting anyone else though.
