TEAM on 18:51 - Dec 29 by ScottCandage | If you're getting rid in two days but desperately need a warm body on the pitch, it makes sense. |
No way he starts in my opinion if he’s off in 2 days Don’t think KM would risk it

TEAM on 18:53 - Dec 29 by Nthsuffolkblue | I think it is Humphreys over Taylor and Ball over Clarke. EDIT: Looking forward to seeing Humphreys. Ball against his old side. Begovic and Dozzell starting for them. [Post edited 29 Dec 2023 18:56]

Why Ball over Clarke? Won’t Williams be RB? Looking at this lot the games v Leeds and Liecester in the space of a couple of days drained the team more than we knew. McKenna said in his presser that the stats were through the roof for the last game so it’s not surprising.

Williams will be left back.

Why? We don't need to sell him if there's an early termination option in the loan.

TEAM on 19:01 - Dec 29 with 1088 views | GlasgowBlue | Clarke not 100% fit? Otherwise Williams would be the natural replacement for Davis.

More likely humph as an attacking lb and ball in the middle?

TEAM on 18:53 - Dec 29 by Yppswyche | Three defenders on the bench!? When did we last see that. Proper patched up feel to this, gulp. |
Surprised , with 3 defenders on the bench , that Baggott not included. Would have been a perfect boost before he leaves for Asian tournament.

TEAM on 18:53 - Dec 29 by tonybied | No Davis, Morsey, Burns and Hirst. That's a big ask to ask against a QPR team that have improved some since the fixture at lotus road earlier in the season. |
Not sure how bad they were before but they have lost their last three and drawn the one before that. Clearly there are no easy games, but I am confident in Humphreys. Ball hopefully won't have too much to do. Missing Hirst and Davis. Hopefully Hutchinson won't be too much of a drop off from Burns.

Clarke got through a lot of yards in the last two games, so it could be just a rotation(?) It’ll be fascinating to hear KM’s thoughts afterwards

Williams is replacing Davis. Ball is playing on the right.

The Blue Monday boys were saying that Ball is seen as the right side of midfield if Morsy is absent. Luongo and Taylor have never been played as a pair because they are both seen as the left side option.

Yeah, he really needs to tell Humphreys to stop warming up with the other three defenders doing long ball drills if he's definitely playing in the middle
