Bad feeling about saturday 09:15 - Sep 29 with 2138 views | WeZBurnZ | Got a feeling its going to go wrong and lead to some negativity around the club. This in turn could lead to a run of mediocre results and see us drop out of the top 6 and start scrambling around midtable by Feb. With the feeling of failure seeping in to the very bones of the North end, anxiety will take over and from there....doom. Only joshing, I think we will win 2 nil 😠
Bad feeling about saturday on 09:29 - Sep 29 with 2074 views | Oatkins | I think it will be a draw. 1 1. I don't think anyone will beat us at Pr this season. We look unbeatable at home. Saturday will be tough, Pompey dominated sheffield wednesday at hillsborough first game and like us were on the wrong end of decisions. Wednesday were lucky to escape with a 3 3 draw. Common theme that eh? Morsy for us, bishop for them.
Bad feeling about saturday on 09:36 - Sep 29 with 2041 views | MattinLondon | We’re going to win 4-0, we’re going to sing derogatory songs about Pompey and we’re going to be top of the league.
Bad feeling about saturday on 09:41 - Sep 29 with 2019 views | NthQldITFC | I think it probably works better if you separate your posts into those that provide cover, and those that get the digs in. I'd say 80% of your posts should be half-hearted 'support' as groundwork, then, when they've swallowed that, the other 20% of posts can be your incisive and devastating attacks.

To say we look unbeatable at home is a stretch, frankly. We've already lost at home in the Cup to lower league opposition, albeit with a changed side, and of our 4 home league games we've only won 2. Bolton could certainly have beaten us. Our 2 ppg home average wouldn't have us in the top 6 in the 'home table'. We're a good side, there's no doubt about that, but nobody at this level is unbeatable anywhere. Pompey have started well with some impressive results, there won't be much in it either way but I think we'll nick it, 1-0.

Do all posters have to follow the 80/20 rule? I’ll struggle to even reach two per cent on the ‘ incisive and devastating attacks’ scale.

Oh no. It only applies to trolls. If I had to justify any of the dross I post as 'incisive and devastating' I'd be kicked off here like a shot.

Bad feeling about saturday on 10:03 - Sep 29 with 1895 views | Chrisd | The problem we have is we simply don't win enough of these type of 'big' games, so naturally we start thinking the worst and the negative thinking begins. The squad really needs to step up, start delivering in these games and there's no better opportunity with the match against Pompey on Saturday. I've seen enough to suggest we are good enough to be a top 6 side, but I'd like us to beat our nearest rivals more often to suggest we are are a little better than that.

We'd have to leave it pretty late to score then because we can't hang onto a lead for very long...... | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Bad feeling about saturday on 12:56 - Sep 29 with 1515 views | dirtyboy | Burns will be back, he's not played so should be raring to go again. There's certainly better balance with him down that side, although Jackson did well the other week. I'm going hoping for a win, but always know that 'it's a funny old game' and sometimes you just don't get what you deserve in individual games, however, over a full season, all goes well.

Bad feeling about saturday on 16:12 - Sep 29 with 1213 views | RedX | I'd give up following the game if I ever went into a game thinking we're going to lose. You have to be optimistic when it comes to sport. I think we'll bounce back with a good win Saturday. Very confident of winning at home.

If he turns up on Saturday and puts in the performance we know he can… combined with a better midfielder in Ball or Evans than we had last time he was playing well, and Davis being more attacking… plus Harness/JJ giving more threat… then I think we win We could overrun them It feels like a big game for our supporters and we’re never good at rising to that - it’s a moment

Naaaa, 2-1 Town. We always seem to concede to the 'better' teams.
