Indeed.
I was surprised as the results started coming in at the % turnout being around 60 odd.

Why do you think that is though Bankster, because i have no idea.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

That a 45% vote on a 65% turnout is far from an endorsement. Do the maths.

Our system is a shower of sh1t and continues to deliver huge majorities to minority supported parties.

That's good from your pov isn't it!?

Just goes to show how many people are disillusioned with the establishment. Your message is getting through.

Yay.

Blimey.

The OPPOSITION parties. The ones not in government.

So what does that make the 32% of the 65% turnout?

Yes, which is why the system is wrong.

Maybe that nice Mr Farage will come back with a 'Reform' party for the next GE, see if he can split the Tory vote instead and bring true change to how seats are allocated.

If being ignored, disillusioned and unrepresented leeds to a groundswell of bottom up organised resistance then yes it does....I think a few more will have woken up to our sham democracy this morning!

Yes it is wrong and I am a big advocate for PR but we are as far away from that as possible with this size majority.

Combination of lazy people who don't really care and the disillusioned who didn't feel there was anyone worth voting for, I imagine.

I abstained. Consciously.

I don't trust Boris or the Tories after prorogation. My constituency is Hancock who is a hypocrite and a sycophant.

I think Corbyn would have destroyed the economy.

I like the thought of Swinson but FPTP doesn't favour the lib dems and her Brexit stance wasn't remotely pragmatic.

The greens are anti nuclear. Which I think is fundamentally wrong.

The only person I agree with and like is Nicola Sturgeon, ridiculously. Sadly there was no SNP candidate in West Suffolk!
