Timing is particularly mad. Completely get that they may have wanted a change longer term but to sack him now when Watford may still need to get points from one of their last two games seems bonkers - they’re basically banking that Mullins is more likely to do than Pearson which seems a huge gamble
Have to wonder if some of the other factors mentioned in The Athletic article have made it untenable |  |
